As far as the second segment goes, James G. Watt, the Secretary of the Interior of whom Dr Greer attempts to expose as a corrupt governmental official who believes that its okay for men to abuse nature because God put those things here for our (human) greed is highly offensive. As far as Mr Watt’s beliefs, Dr Greer may be correct. HOWEVER, when GREER uses this hick, Southern dialect in mocking what Watts supposedly said under a hot mike is completely BOGUS. James G. Watt is from Wyoming and if any of you have ever traveled to Wyoming, SOUTHERN ACCENTS are as rare as “hen’s teeth”. I enjoy listening to Dr Greer in many of his group meetings and conferences should get the dialect right. However, Greer uses the lowest common denominator by throwing in this hokey southern accent supposedly used by the Wyoming native Watt in Greer’s attempts to expose the man’s true beliefs. No problem with exposing the truth, Dr Greer, but NO NEED TO EMBELLISH the situation with a Southern Accent for effect. Basically what Greer was playing on was people’s misconcepts about Southerners to attempt to, once again, embellish and accentuate his exposure of Watt. No need for that, Dr. Greer as you should be above such childish actions.
