Afghan Family of Eight, Including Six Children, Killed in Nato Missile Attack

At least eight members of an Afghan family have been killed, including six children, after an airstrike by the US-led NATO coalition in Afghanistan. The missiles hit late Saturday night in the eastern province of Paktia, according to officials.

“Shafi was not a Taliban. He was not in any opposition group against the government. He was a villager,” Samon said. “Right now, we are working on this case to find out the ages of their children and how many of them are boys and girls.”

Al-Jazeera reports:

Afghan authorities say that at least eight members of a family have been killed after an airstrike by the US-led NATO coalition in the eastern province of Paktia.

The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) coalition said it was aware of the allegation and was investigating the incident, which happened late on Saturday night.

Rohullah Samon, a spokesman for the Paktia provincial government, said on Sunday that a man, a woman and their six children were killed in a coalition airstrike at 8pm local time (15:00 GMT) in Suri Khail village of Gurda Saria district.

“This man had no connection to the Taliban or any other terrorist group,” Samon told the AFP news agency, naming the man as Mohammad Shafi.

“Shafi was not a Taliban. He was not in any opposition group against the government. He was a villager,” Samon said. “Right now, we are working on this case to find out the ages of their children and how many of them are boys and girls.”

The Los Angeles Times adds:

Any NATO airstrike that leads to civilian deaths erodes the Afghan people’s trust in foreign forces.

“If the lives of Afghan people are not safe, the signing of the strategic partnership has no meaning,” Karzai’s office said earlier this month.

Karzai’s warning came after Afghan officials reported that 18 civilians had died recently in four airstrikes in Logar, Kapisa, Badghis and Helmand provinces.

Last year was the deadliest on record for civilians in the Afghan war, with 3,021 killed as insurgents ratcheted up violence with suicide attacks and roadside bombs, the United Nations said in its latest report on civilian deaths. The U.N. attributed 77 percent of the deaths to insurgent attacks and 14 percent to actions by international and Afghan troops. Nine percent of cases were classified as having an unknown cause

‘All Pain, No Gain’: The Irish Backlash to Europe’s Austerity Plans

And In One Small Irish Town, Loophole Allows for Return to Pre-Euro Currency

In the small town of Clones, near the Northern Ireland border, an unique experiment is underway that uses a little known loophole to help a local economy ease the pain from a ravaged national economy.

(Photo: Crispin Rodwell) The loophole, explains The Guardian‘s Henry McDonald, “deems that up to 285m punts [the older Irish currency] stuffed under Irish mattresses, inside piggy banks, salted away as souvenirs in shoeboxes or in latent bank accounts, are still legal currency.”

“Holders of the old currency are invited to visit Clones and hand over their punts in exchange for blue and yellow laminated vouchers which are then usable at any of the 45 businesses that have signed up for the scheme.”

McDonald’s reporting occurs in the context of a looming national referendum in Ireland this week that will determine whether or not the Irish people will accept the European treaty which puts spending limits on national economies and impose austerity measures in exchange for access to bailout funds from the IMF and the Eurozone’s central bank.

A “yes” vote in Ireland indicates acceptance of the EU’s demands, while a “no” vote — favored by Ireland’s leftist parties — would reject austerity.

An Irish “No” would not by itself derail the fiscal treaty, because only 12 eurozone countries are required to ratify it for it to come into force. Already, Romania, Portugal, Greece, Slovenia and Slovakia have done so. However, it would embolden increasingly powerful anti-austerity campaigns in bigger eurozone countries like Italy and Spain, any of whose failure to participate could effectively sink the project.

“A No vote in the only popular poll on current efforts to save the euro would be hugely damaging to the treaty, in that it would signal to investors that if it was put to a vote in many countries, it would not get past,” said Hugo Brady, of the Centre for European Reform.

“The sense of a backlash against austerity would be much enforced.”

Leading the No vote is Sinn Fein, whose combination of Irish nationalism and hard-left economics has struck a chord with many. The party, which now has 20 per cent support in southern Ireland, puts much of the blame on Ireland’s banks, whose reckless lending inflated an unsustainable property bubble during the boom years.

But Sinn Fein’s nationalists have also made much of how the new treaty will leave Ireland open to huge European Court of Justice fines if it breaches spending rules. In comments that give him unlikely common cause with the Euro-sceptic wing of Britain’s Tory Party, the Sinn Fein leader, Gerry Adams, said: “We believe in the democratic rights of our citizens, who have the right to sack governments. You can’t do that with the European Commission or the European Court of Justice.”

Like Leftist parties in Greece, Sinn Fein says that even if Ireland were to say No, Europe would still have no choice but to offer bail out-cash, a claim denounced as dangerously misleading by its opponents.

Three days before Ireland’s crucial referendum on the eurozone’s fiscal pact – a vote that could complicate further the debate over austerity in Europe – the citizens of Clones are already taking matters into their own hands. Butchers, bar owners, shopkeepers, barbers and ordinary citizens of the County Monaghan town have in effect resurrected the old Irish currency bearing the faces of past Irish heroes such as Catholic emancipator Daniel O’Connell as the punt exchanges hands and is tucked into the tills.

They are all taking part in an experiment to boost a town ravaged by the economic downturn. It exploits a financial loophole which deems that up to 285m punts stuffed under Irish mattresses, inside piggy banks, salted away as souvenirs in shoeboxes or in latent bank accounts, are still legal currency.

“There have been people coming from as far south as Kerry and as far north as Antrim to spend money in the town since it began this spring,” explains Ciaran Morgan, the 21-year-old university student who, along with his father, dreamed up the idea.

Inside his family’s store on the road up to the border, where crucifix nightlights are on sale alongside tins of pet food, Morgan explains that he came up with the plan after seeing a report on the internet about a village in Spain that was using the old peseta as an alternative to the euro.

“We checked with the central bank in Dublin and we were staggered to find there was around 285m punts that could still be exchanged as legal currency.

“We got the plastic vouchers printed in China and then started the project in March. Customers who have punts come to the town, go into a shop or business, and they then get the euro equivalent on the voucher which they must spend here in Clones.”

But despite the unexpected boost, the signs of the Irish economic crash are still stark along Clones’ main thoroughfare, Fermanagh Street. Finbarr Dunwoody, the president of Clones Chamber of Commerce, points to the boarded up shops as and the many for sale and to let signs.

“As you can see, 50% of the businesses in our main street are closed,” he says.

“If we take one more euro into the town as a result of this scheme then it is surely a good thing. I was absolutely bowled over by the amount of punts still out there in the country so hopefully if we got 1% of that 285m it would be great.”

The reintroduction of the euro in this border town, whose shops also accept sterling from Northern Ireland customers, has focused minds on the future of the single currency as the Greek crisis rages on and ahead of the republic’s referendum on the EU fiscal treaty on Thursday.

Dunwoody like the overwhelming majority of people in Clones, is glad to see the familiar faces on the punt but uncertain about which way to vote on 31 May.

The chartered surveyor displays the kind of ambivalence towards the single currency and the EU treaty that should worry the pro-European government urging a yes vote back in Dublin.

“Isn’t it a real sign of the times that a town like Clones has to examine the potential of bringing back the old currency?” he says. “Maybe it’s a flavour of what’s to come, maybe it’s a little warning to Brussels that the likes of Clones and indeed Ireland may have to find their own way out of this mess.

“Look, I would hate to see us leaving the euro – we got a 20% boost to our economy when we joined – but who’s to say? I am wavering on the yes-no – one day I’m yes and one day I’m no. I’ve not made up my mind yet.”

For some souls who have only just awakened, their reality has been shattered and for a while they will cling to what they believed to be the truth. It is important that they realize that the coming changes are not to be feared. Also that it is not too late to alter their pattern of thinking to allow their consciousness levels to be lifted, and place themselves on the path to Ascension. It is not necessarily a matter of how much you know, as your understanding that progress will be made by living from the heart and not through the ego. Be humble and see yourself in every other soul, and treat them as you would yourself be treated. One of the main frailties that humans have is being judgmental and if you can work towards being non-judgmental, you will have travelled a long way towards lifting yourself up.

God has provided for every soul but left the choice up to you, as to whether you wish to ascend or continue your third dimensional experiences. It may not seem so, but you have all had the same opportunities to change the course of your life. It comes down to wanting to change, and taking the responsibility for your own spiritual evolution. Once you make that decision you will never travel alone, but that help is lost unless you put the effort in to setting yourself a goal. Time is short and very soon there will be great revelations about the true purpose of life, and most importantly, establishing the truth about The One God of your Universe. God is not the sole property of any religion, but God to every single soul and each one is a godspark in its own rights. The whole purpose of your many lives is to experience and take it back to the Godhead. Since you have been granted freewill to do so, God does not chastise or punish you, and allows the Laws of the Universe to apply the necessary teachings that will help you over any mistakes you have made.

Dear Ones, your wait is nearly over as the final arrangements are made to go ahead with the arrests of the Illuminati. It is something of a military operation, but their presence will only be to help our allies if they are violently opposed. As far as we are concerned, the activities are planned to be non-violent and legally supported and enforced by Law Marshals. Physical changes are necessary but will not be as catastrophic as the original prophecies suggested. They were given in accordance with the probabilities that existed at that time. We are pleased to inform you that consciousness levels have lifted up so much in recent times, that physical changes will be much less volatile. As we have often advised you and will repeat that if you are concerned about where you are, sit quietly for a while and intuitively check it out with you Higher Self.

Until the governmental changes you will be unable to trust official reports, as they are still influenced by those who want you to remain in the dark. A perfect illustration of this is the US Governments recent denial of us and our craft, notwithstanding the fact that we have met with them on many occasions. However, it makes little difference in the long run as when the timing is appropriate, we shall ensure that the official announcement acknowledging our presence goes ahead. That will signal the beginning of a close association between us and you, that will carry on through Ascension and into the next cycle of your evolution. With our allies help we are laying down the foundations for your elevation into the higher dimensions. You already have one foot in them and as you raise your vibrations, will readily take to the changes. In effect, you will have nothing taken away from you that is not replaced by something better. Bear in mind that the ultimate goal is to turn you into Galactic Beings.

In some ways it is as well you do not have instant recall of previous lives, as it would probably pre-occupy you when you should be concentrating on your future. Furthermore, you would not necessarily recognize yourself as the same person you are now, as you will have evolved and become more of the Light. Just imagine how much experience you have gained, and how it has molded you into the person you are today. Do not worry if you still have baggage to release, and use your self control to overcome it. If you aspire to lift yourself up you will never be without help, even if you are unaware of it. Angels and Guides accompany you through the physical world, and are doing all they can to make sure you fulfil your life plan. You can help yourself by acknowledging their presence and call upon them if you need their help, as they cannot “interfere” unless you do so. There are exceptions as for instance if you are in danger, they are allowed to help you through such difficulties. That absolutely applies if your life is threatened, and it is not your time to leave the Earth. It is almost certain that many of you have escaped some danger without even realizing how you did so, and probably put it down to luck or sheer coincidence.

I am SaLuSa form Sirius, and can you see now how important you are to us, and how you are being safely guided to completion of this cycle. It may sound odd given that you exist in the lower dimensions, but the Universe depends on you to reach the end time through Ascension. It awaits Man’s great fulfilment and ascendancy to the higher dimensions, the place that is your real home. Speaking for the Galactic Federation, I can tell you that we love you all, and see you as your Higher Selves without a blemish, standing in the pure Light of Love.

Good morning,

I have received a phone call this morning from a dear friend who was worried for me. It transpired from our phone conversation that someone had hacked into my email account pretending I was in Spain and in need of money. They have also deleted my contact lists of various people posting my channelled messages and translations, along with all my list of sent emails for the past year, so that I am unbale to trace back email addresses.

Just wanted to reassure everybody who the email was sent to, and I have no idea of how many people and who the email was sent to, I am home and all is well. Please do not send any money for me .

Very sorry for this, this is a known prank with channelers I am afraid . I have now changed my password, so I hope this will stop any further pranks or rather attacks…

It has been an interesting May with the Solar Eclipse and the alignment with the Pleiades, Alcyon. Several CMEs – coronal mass ejections – have also shifted the energies. We are seeing another major time compression where days seem like hours, weeks like days and months like weeks. Many are reporting contacts with Angelic realms, Ascended Masters, spiritually and technologically advanced off worlders, our ancient ancestors, as well as some of what was thought to be mythical Gods of old. In meditations people are seeing visions of Poseidon, now Prometheus, Egyptian Gods in what seems to be a great reunion. Prometheus the God of fire might just be warning us about the upcoming Solar Flares just as Poseidon warned us about the tsunamis in the past.

On a more scientific note Solar Cycle 24 has fully kicked in and according to NASA it is expected to be 50% stronger than 23; which unleashed monumental flares. I would not have any expectations for the electrical and communication grid to go unaffected or even go down now and then possibly for months. The GPS equipment and cell phones are already having problems along the equator due to massive energy bands forming which seem to reverse direction wreaking havoc on airlines and other modalities of travel depending on GPS for navigation. Earthquakes in areas never before seen are unfolding and with these flares will come and increase in erratic weather, tornadoes, hurricanes, quakes and volcanic activity.

There will also be major social and economic changes as well as personal relationship changes all having to do with this process. The Earth is ascending, raising her frequencies, people and institutions that do not align with the Earth’s evolution and are not frequency specific will not be able to maintain with these new energies. We are getting overwhelmed with emails from people going through their dark night of the soul, trying to hold on to the past and refusing to let go of their comfort zones and embrace the changes gracefully. We are doing our best to help those in transition yet we are also having our own challenges and will continue to send out personal healing practices empowering people to heal themselves as well as knowledge about these changes to help in the transition. It is good to know you are not alone in these challenges and the greatest healer you will ever encounter is within. We also acknowledge there is a time to assist as we are assisted thus we offer various modalities of healing at the Ranch.

June we will have a full moon lunar eclipse on the 4th followed by a Venus transit. We do live in an electric universe, the Moon and Venus will bridge other cosmic and solar energies to Earth. It seems the whole timeless multiverse with all of its Gods and ultradimensional beings are coming to the party. The multidimensional light and energy ships are being seen around the world with major cities observing large motherships and in some cases fleets. Those who are spiritual advanced and sensitive are fully aware of this phenomena. Looks like SETI members, debunkers and disinformation folks are jumping ship and don’t want to be caught with egg on there faces. Local news stations are covering these events yet national news is still following the corporate agenda holding tight to the powers that were agenda. This will not last much longer.

As Baba ji said, ” It is time to lovingly and joyously prepare, physically, mentally and emotionally.” Do not forget all aspects in preparation because those who prepare physically and do not release the past preparing mentally, emotionally and spiritually will not endure or be frequency specific to the Earth’s evolution. It is also good to remember Confucius, ” Man with head in clouds, stumble in ditch.” Get in touch with the Earth, put in your gardens, get access for fresh water, set aside some supplies for any disruptions and work together in the days to come. You cannot eat your paper money or your plastic especially if the grid goes down. Also remember gas and water pumps wont work not to mention sewage that needs to be pumped. Not a good note to end this message.

It is imperative you do not get into fear, do not fall for the feel good prophets promoting a false sense of security that will tell you everything will continue uninterrupted due to saviors or those who tell you the Earth is finished along with all of its inhabitants. She will go on and on yet we have to be realistic. We all are involved in a major cycle, she is expanding, growing, shifting, shaking and cleansing. If you look at what has been done to the air, water, land, forests, oceans it is inevitable a major cleansing is necessary for her to continue to be the platform for life and support us in our own cleansing and healing process. What if on the other side of this process was a polluted, desolate planet? We all have to flow with these changes, release the past, let go of our comfort zones establishing and acting on our own inner guidance. Do not be a lemming of social consciousness or follow the herd of the cliff of social, economic and environmental collapse. Discontinue any action that is not in the highest and best good of Humanity and the Earth. Your TV is not going to tell you what you need to know in the days to come. Between now and November we are going to go through what would have taken a thousand years in months. Be well, be safe, tune in and act.

The chief executive of the multi-billion pound Lloyd’s of London has publicly admitted that the world’s leading insurance market is prepared for a collapse in the single currency and has reduced its exposure “as much as possible” to the crisis-ridden continent.

Richard Ward said Lloyd’s of London could have to take writedowns on its £58.9bn investment portfolio if the eurozone collapses.

Richard Ward said the London market had put in place a contingency plan to switch euro underwriting to multi-currency settlement if Greece abandoned the euro.

In an interview with The Sunday Telegraph he also revealed that Lloyd’s could have to take writedowns on its £58.9bn investment portfolio if the eurozone collapses.

Europe accounts for 18pc of Lloyd’s £23.5bn of gross written premiums, mostly in France, Germany, Spain and Italy. The market also has a fledgling operation in Poland.

Lloyd’s move comes as a major Franco-German provider of credit insurance for eurozone trade, Euler Hermes, said it was considering reducing cover for trade with Greece because of the risk the country might leave the eurozone.

When a company goes bust, it is often sparked by withdrawal of credit insurance for suppliers wanting to trade with it.

A spokesman for Euler Hermes, Bettina Sattler, told Bloomberg: “The outcome of the new elections in June remains highly uncertain. Consequently, the situation is further deteriorating. The risk of Greece exiting the eurozone has been revived.

“In light of the recent developments, Euler Hermes will most probably have to switch to a more prudent approach. [We have] maintained a high level of cover for [our] customers until today. But now we are confronted with a changing situation.”

Lloyd’s fears are likely to be shared by a number of European businesses, which are watching developments in Greece.

On Saturday, Juergen Fitschen, co-chief executive of Deutsche Bank, described Greece as a “failed state” run by corrupt politicians.

“I’m quite worried about Europe,” Mr Ward said in one of the first admissions by a major UK business leader of the scale of the crisis that would be prompted by a eurozone collapse.

“With all the concerns around the eurozone at the moment, we’ve got to be careful doing business in Europe and there are a lot of question marks over writing business in the future in euros.

“I don’t think that if Greece exited the euro it would lead to the collapse of the eurozone, but what we need to do is prepare for that eventuality.”

Mr Ward says Lloyd’s had been working hard on contingency planning and had the capability to switch settlement of European underwriting from euros to other currencies.

“We’ve got multi-currency functionality and we would switch to multi-currency settlement if the Greeks abandoned the euro and started using the drachma again,” he said.

Lloyd’s has de-risked its asset portfolio in recent years, with investments split equally into cash, corporate bonds and government bonds, mostly in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. “We have de-risked the asset portfolio as much as possible,” he said.

The contingency planning comes as German politicians piled the pressure on Greece ahead of elections on June 17.

A conservative member of German chancellor Angela Merkel’s cabinet said today Germany would not “pour money into a bottomless pit”.

On Sunday, Swiss central bank chief Thomas Jordan admitted his country is drawing up an action plan in the event of the euro’s collapse.

A little background

Bill has been unfairly and unjustly charged and re-arrested on a case that was basically dismissed in 1998. The reasons for this are obvious, as Bill is still trying to fight the good fight by making the public aware of the crimes still being perpetrated by the Military Industrial Complex. It appears that they are now trying to do to Bill, what the government did to another very courageous whistleblower . . . Private Bradley Manning.

Meditation Instructions

1. Relax your mind and body by watching your breath for a few minutes.

2. Visualize a pillar of electric blue Light emanating from the Galactic Central Sun, going through your body to the center of the Earth. Keep this pillar of Light active for a few minutes. Then visualize all negative entities around the Earth being removed from etheric and astral planes along with all their negative spiritual technologies, magical tools and instruments of the military used for waging wars and killing innocents. Visualize this process taking place worldwide peacefully and smoothly. Visualize the world finally being free from all wars, greed, death, and destruction. Visualize the vibration of the etheric and astral planes getting lighter and brighter until all dark beings are gone and only Light remains.

3. Visualize love and light filling the hearts of all the instigators of war and violence. Visualize all wounds of humanity being healed, all humanity being inspired and guided with everybody having their own connection with their own Soul and the Source.

Please do this visualization as instructed and do not change it as otherwise it will not have the desired effect.

I would like to thank you all for your so much heart felt daily love and support.

2 active websites and a youtube channel are now running for just over one year. If you would like to make suggestions or ask questions, feel free to leave them in the comments sections.

This has been a learning experience for me, from the small technical challenges, to dealing with questions from readers and getting to make new friends thanks to the blogs, youtube and facebook. I have learnt a lot from all of you so far and I hope our journey will soon bring us even closer.

We have also added a Donation button just over a week ago and I would like to thank those of you who have so gracefully sent a contribution. Again, I would like to use it for the website and perhaps even upgrading to a faster broadband, or even getting a faster laptop, which would both save me time in the long run.
